Sensor STAR

The Virginia Tech Sensor STAR protocol is at the forefront of head impact measurement and testing. HITIQ technology has been exposed to this independent in laboratory validation testing. It received a correlation score of between 93.5 and 99.9 when judged against their reference data. This gives further confidence to those using the HITIQ system that they are getting the very best data in order to develop world-class head impact performance protocols. International footprint

HITIQ  was born in Australia and has built extensive expertise working across AFL and NRL. This expertise has now been imported to the UK as they/we begin their/our first major European project with Scottish Rugby. Scotland the brave

HITIQ technology has now been implemented across the Scottish Rugby system. The autumn internationals versus Tonga, Australia, South Africa and Japan made a turning point in the management of head injury for Scottish players. HITIQ will continue to work with the Scottish performance team and players to help refine their system and manage head impact to support player welfare and help maximise performance.
